Our Story - Megan Colyer Corp
The Megan Colyer Corp was built from grit, vision, faith, and a deep understanding of real estate investing from the ground up.
Long before the company officially began, Megan’s passion for real estate started in childhood. Growing up on a 200+ acre farm outside of Hermann, she spent her time drawing floor plans and dreaming up floor plans with her young creative mind in the woods. What started as imagination eventually became a calling.
In 2010, Megan and her family purchased a home for just $17,500. What many would have seen as impossible, they saw as opportunity. The property was stripped down to dirt floors, lifted on the foundation, and completely restored through hard work, determination, and vision. After selling the home and realizing the profit, Megan recognized there was an entirely different side to real estate — one that could create financial freedom, opportunity, and long-term wealth.
Years later, during one of the most difficult seasons of her life, the foundation for Megan Colyer Corp was truly formed. What began as helping local investors flip homes and build rental portfolios quickly evolved into something much larger.
Today, Megan Colyer Corp works with investors, buyers, and real estate professionals to strategically navigate real estate opportunities with calculated risk, operational expertise, and long-term vision. Megan has built her reputation on honesty, integrity, creative problem-solving, and relentless dedication to helping others succeed.
To date, and only by the grace of God, Megan has never lost on an investment.

Megan Colyer, also known as “Meg”, is a licensed real estate professional specializing in investment portfolio acquisitions and dispositions, with a particular focus on Section 8 portfolios. With extensive expertise in both residential and investment properties, she delivers exceptional value and insight to clients navigating the local market.
Megan's real estate career began with what she later recognized as "house hacking," during which she gained invaluable hands-on experience in property rehabilitation, remodels, and compliance with building codes. She expanded her efforts by flipping homes beyond her primary residence, eventually transitioning into rental properties and short-term vacation rentals. Megan has a wealth of experience managing large portfolios, project management, multifamily acquisitions, and executing various investment strategies, including: BRRRR, flipping, rentals, and portfolio acquisitions and dispositions.
In addition to her professional experience, Megan has a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts and completed undergraduate studies in interior design planning. Her passion for real estate began as far back as she can remember, with early memories of designing floor plans and constructing makeshift homes from dirt.
Megan is the President of the Megan Colyer Corp, an active creator and admin for the Saint Louis Wholesalers/Cash Buyer's Connect group, a dynamic community of nearly 9,000 members. Her expertise has garnered recognition from respected publications such as HomePolish Magazine and Country Living Magazine. She also maintains a real estate blog where she offers practical advice on topics ranging from market trends to home furnishings.
Her professional affiliations include membership with the Saint Louis County Board of Real Estate and the National Association of Realtors (NAR). These connections ensure Megan stays current with industry trends and maintains a strong network of professionals.
Megan is dedicated to helping investors succeed by leveraging the skills and knowledge she has developed throughout her career. As a licensed REALTOR®, she specializes in assisting investors with property acquisitions and dispositions. With expertise in non-traditional real estate transactions such as seller financing, novations, subject-to deals, wholesaling, double closings, and reverse double closings, Megan is committed to finding solutions and making deals happen, no matter the complexity.
